Delete your account

You can delete your PetsNest account at any time. There are two ways.

1. In the app (fastest)

• Open PetsNest.
• Go to Settings → Account.
• Tap Delete account.
• Tap Send verification code — we text a 6-digit code to your registered mobile number.
• Enter the code, then tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

2. By email

If you can't access the app, email info@drpaw.life from the address on your account, or include the mobile number you registered with, and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to verify the number by SMS before we proceed. We action verified requests within 30 days and confirm when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: name, mobile number, email, address and profile photo.
• Your pets and the records you added — health records, vaccinations, medications, allergies, life log, training, photos and documents.
• Your safety information: emergency contacts and any lost-pet reports.
• Your Pawbook activity: posts, comments, reactions, follows, saved posts and direct messages.
• Your notification settings and device push tokens.

What is kept, and why

If a veterinary clinic has treated your pet, that clinic is legally required to keep the clinical and billing records it created — this is a medical record-keeping obligation, not a choice we make. In that case:

• the clinic's records stay with the clinic, and
• your personal details are removed from our systems and your link to those records is anonymised, so the records can no longer identify you.

We also keep transaction records where tax or accounting law requires it.
